The Little Toy returns for the first time since 1961, reintroducing one of Charles and Ray Eames’ most inventive explorations of play, structure, and modular design.

Designed in 1952, The Little Toy reflects the Eameses’ interest in prefabricated architecture and their talent for transforming everyday, off-the-shelf materials into something new. The set is built around simple geometric forms, squares and triangles, realized as brightly colored panels and wire frames that can be endlessly combined.

Using wire connectors, the panels and frames assemble into a wide range of configurations, from toy houses and desktop architectural structures to hanging geometric sculptures. The experience encourages hands-on experimentation, spatial thinking, and creative problem-solving, capturing the Eames belief that play is an essential part of serious ideas.
