Eames : Giant House of Cards
Giant House of Cards supersizes the classic Eames play experience, turning imagination into architecture with bold, graphic, interlocking cards.
Designed by Charles and Ray Eames as an extension of their original House of Cards series, this is the largest format in the collection. First introduced in 1953, the Giant House of Cards invites you to build upward and outward, creating towers, walls, and sculptural forms that can reach toward the ceiling.
Each oversized card features a printed image drawn from the arts, sciences, and the everyday world on one side, with vibrant color panels on the reverse. Six precision-cut slots on every card allow the pieces to interlock easily, supporting structures of many shapes and scales. The set can also be combined with the Create-It-All House of Cards for even more building possibilities.
Both a playful toy and a thoughtful design object, the Giant House of Cards reflects the Eames belief that play is a foundation for serious ideas.
