Eames : Vintage Computer House of Cards
Vintage Computer House of Cards brings together Eames design and early computer history in a rare, beautifully preserved deck of vintage cards.
Designed by Charles and Ray Eames, the Computer House of Cards dates back to the IBM Pavilion at the 1970 World’s Fair in Osaka, Japan. The cards were created as souvenirs for guests and printed only once, making this deck exceptionally scarce and highly sought-after by Eames enthusiasts and technology collectors.
Each card features a close-up photograph of a computer’s inner workings, captured with striking detail and clarity. Made before the microchip was invented, the images document a very different era of computing, preserving the look and structure of 1970 pre-microchip technology in a tactile, design-forward format.
Offered unused and in good vintage condition, this deck is ideal as a collector’s piece, a gift, or a distinctive design object.
